Coeur d'Alene beat Lake City 5-2 today. Both teams played well at times, and a little sloppy at times. I was looking at the infield of both teams and think it is the best I have ever seen. I would love to compare individual stats for every position. I don't think there would be much difference. Lake City's Kory Kritz could be the best at first base I have seen in my 13 or so years watching fast pitch softball. And Coeur d'Alene's Elli Tindall had to be involved in half of the put-outs today. One last thing, in stead of writing "speedy Randi Spencer", I think I am going to have to say Randi "Too much bling" Spencer. The home plate umpire made her take off her earrings. How he saw them when she was at bat with a batting helmet on, I'll never know. I thought it was funny though.
